I have used this product in the rear differential of my 2003 F150 4×4 with great results. This is the second time I have changed the gear oil with this product and I like it better than other synthetic gear oils, primarily because I experienced no chatter with it (I did add the Ford friction modifier). I also use this same brand for the gear oil in the front differential as well.

Was starting to get rear diff chatter on tight turns. I drained the old oil out and refilled with the new RP one. Drove it around and Diff is now Quiet again.

Used this to replace the transmission and chaincase lube in my 2019 Harley Trike and noticed an improvement in sound and smoothness of the clutch and transmission plus a decease in temperature from the Harley HD synthetic lube I had been running, which is basically the same weight and cost as Royal Purple. I am also running the exact same lube in my 2018 Ford F-150 and it silenced the typical “knock” in the rear end that a lot of new Fords have when changing gears with the factory weight lube. Great product plus this will also be going into both differentials on my new 2021 Jeep Wrangler once everything settles in.
