I really did not think it would be so accurate and convenient to set up. Love it!!!

This wireless car stereo display is a quick and easy way to add some modern functionality to older vehicles. No need to take apart the factory panels and trim to run cables and find adapters so that your new stereo will fit into your car. I wanted to add CarPlay to my car and didn’t want to spend the time and work to install an in-dash head unit, so I went with this setup. Connecting the wireless car stereo is pretty easy. I had to establish a connection between my phone and the stereo. You have the option of using the wired connection or wireless via bluetooth. I went with the bluetooth connection and it was very simple to do. Just turn on the bluetooth on both devices and put them in pairing mode. They should auto find one another and it will ask for a pin in order to establish the connection. Once connected, it’ll take a few seconds for everything to completely pair with each other. After that, you will see your phone’s information on the display and be able to operate some of your phone’s apps through the stereo’s CarPlay. You have the option of using your vehicle’s speakers to broadcast sound from your phone with a cable or via the FM transmitter. There are several preset stations, but you can easily fine tune the exact frequency by moving the slider.Everything about this wireless car stereo sounds great, so why the 3 star rating? Well, after about 3 days of testing/using the wireless stereo, it just stopped working. Out of the blue, it just wouldn’t power on. After about 40 minutes of troubleshooting, I was able to find a possible reason for the failure. It seems that the stereo unit itself is working, but the problem is with the power adapter. The adapter is not supplying power to the unit, therefore, it won’t turn on. I tried using a different USB type C cable to try to see if the stereo would power on and it did. The indicator light on the adapter was also not turning on as well. Although the car stereo works well and does what it advertised, none of it matters if it doesn’t power on. It’s just a paper weight sitting on my car’s dashboard if there is no way to power the unit. It’s pretty frustrating and disappointing because all this could be avoided if a better quality power adapter was included.
