JBL never disappoint and this is no exception. I bought the clip for ease of travel as I already have a flip 4 but the size of this is perfect to just throw and go!The sound quality is as expected from JBL and the highest volume level can still pack a punch! The only less positive comment is the power button can be turned on accidently in an overpacked bag (who me?!) as its not indented and only because I could hear the familiar power up sound was I aware that this had happened, but besides that I’ve taken it to beaches, played it in the shower and in hotel rooms and still the sound quality has held its own. Great buy!

Okay, bought this bad boy because we spend a lot of time at the beach, and after losing an odd number of white AirPods to the sand gods, finally decided I needed something a wee bit safer (ok, cheaper too). This definitely did not disappoint. It clipped right onto our beach bag, and most importantly, stayed clipped to our beach bag. Hooking up Bluetooth was a breeze, and the sound quality was great. I mean, it didn’t bug the neighbors, but we definitely enjoyed some tunes while hiding our snacks from the seagulls. And the best part was I didn’t have to constantly keep taking my headphones out for every question my wife had for me. Win/win! Buy it, you’ll like it.

I do heavy carpentry and our gear gets real beat up. One of my coworkers uses this speaker clipped to the bags he wears all day, and it has survived severe abuse since he got it, without an issue. Overall they seem outragously durable, which is my biggest reason for buying it. As a bonus, the sound quality is really good when considering the form factor and low cost.

For a small speaker, JBL Clip 4 delivers excellent sound even at high volume. This speaker is very durable. Mine has survived multiple drops, including a short dive into a river. It holds its charge well for hours. I have only wonderful things to say about this mighty lil’ speaker … except for … it is prone to being stolen!
