Good product but there is a better choice out there. Good product, sound quality is good -not the best but good enough- also it is a little heavy for it’s size, good connectivity and good battery life.PS. You can put a 100 LE more and get the Soundcore flare 2, it is better sound quality, 360 degree sound, lighter and it has RBG on top and bottom,

[See Edit]This unit makes annoying on/off connected/disconnected noises.I bought this to play music to my kids at bedtime.Now it just wakes them up as they fall asleep when we connect a phone.What rubbish.Contacted Anker, no ability to disable.Unit has two perfectly functioning LED lights that show if the unit is on or connected. I don’t need an audible noise telling me it is connected too. Why is this a feature and not a bug I will never understand.I find it unethical to return something I didn’t like because I didn’t do enough research prior to purchasing. So I’m stuck hating this thing and still trying to use it.I might try flashing ESPHome to it or something.Edit:As far as the unit (SC2) itself.No complaints (for the price).$30 is a steal.No access to soundcore app is understandable at price-point.Bass is a bit lacking (it’s tiny, understandable) [compared to my Minirig 3]BT range is excellent (across the house through walls, maybe 45ft)—Anker contacted me through Amazon. They offered1) Full refund, no return necessary2) Soundcore 3, no return of Soundcore 2 necessaryTheir Soundcore 3 has the ability to access the soundcore app which allows disable of “voice prompt” (the annoying noises) in addition to other features such as EQ.I chose the second option.I find the replacement unit to be superior for my use-case scenario in every way to the Soundcore 2.The annoying noises are gone.It turns on, plays music, and turns off, all without making any ‘extra’ noise. Perfect.I do find the bass a bit lacking out of the box, but a quick EQ fix (flat, +3dB @ 80Hz, -3dB @ 5kHz) to be a solid solution.Overall I am quite pleased.Anker has always been a favorite brand of mine. I’ve trusted them for years and years for tons of products. I was never going to hold my lack of research in the ‘noises’ from the SC2 speaker against Anker. But this experience just solidifies I’ll never buy anything from anyone else if I can help it.
